ABERDEEN CITY PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE OF HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to SDCL § 11-9-3, that a public hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of Aberdeen, South Dakota, will be held on the 17^th day of March, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in Council Chambers in the Municipal Building at 123 South Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, South Dakota. The purpose of this hearing is for interested persons to express views on the proposed creation of City of Aberdeen Tax Increment Financing District No. 45 and the district’s proposed boundaries for an economic development project east of N. Roosevelt St. and north of Milwaukee Ave. NE, which project includes street construction, installation of infrastructure, and improvements within the right-of-way, including underground utilities, adjacent to and within the real property legally described as:

Parcel ID #30698:   Lot 1, Wagner Holdings Third Addition to the City of Aberdeen, in the W½ of Section 17, Township 123 North, Range 63 West of the 5^th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota;

Parcel ID #30699:  Lot 2, Wagner Holdings Third Addition to the City of Aberdeen, in the W½ of Section 17, Township 123 North, Range 63 West of the 5^th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota;

Parcel ID #30700:  Lot 3, Wagner Holdings Third Addition to the City of Aberdeen, in the W½ of Section 17, Township 123 North, Range 63 West of the 5^th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota; and

Parcel ID #26954:  Lot 2, Wagner Holdings Second Addition in the W½ of Section 17, Township 123 North, Range 63 West of the 5^th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota.

Any person having an interest in this matter may appear and be heard at which time the Planning Commission will discuss the issue and take action at the conclusion of the hearing regarding the establishment of a tax increment financing district affecting the above-described real property.
