With repairs planned on the water transmission line at the intersection of First Avenue Southeast and South Dakota Street, Aberdeen residents are asked to reduce water use this week.
Installation of a new water main is set for Wednesday, June 21, according to a news release from the Aberdeen Public Works Department. Residents are asked to stop all lawn watering and reduce water use as much as possible from Tuesday, June 20 through Thursday, June 22.
The reduction in use will help keep water levels from dropping too low, which can cause low-pressure issues for residents, according to the release.
