NOTICE OF VACANCY ON SCHOOL BOARD
The following school board positions will become vacant due to the expiration of the present terms of office of the following school board members.
- A three-year term currently held by board member, Aaron Schultz, which expires June 30, 2026;
- A three-year term currently held by board member, Brian Sharp, which expires June 30, 2026;
- A three-year term currently held by board member, Kevin Burckhard, which expires June 30, 2026.
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on February 2, 2026, and petitions may be filed in the Finance Office located at the District Service Center, 1224 S. 3rd Street, Aberdeen, South Dakota, 57401, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., central daylight savings time, not later than March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or mailed by registered mail not later than March 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
