Aberdeen Township – Notice of Right-of-Way Mowing

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP

NOTICE OF RIGHT-OF-WAY MOWING

All road rights-of-ways’ within Aberdeen Township must be mowed no later than October 1st, 2025.

Mowing Requirements:

• Mowing must extend from the road edge to the field edge or fence line.
• Property owners are responsible for ensuring this work is completed by the deadline.

Failure to Comply:

• The township will mow any right-of-way not maintained by the deadline.
• A fee of $500 per mile will be assessed to the landowner for any mowing completed by the township.

Per Certified Law, the owner or occupant of any land abutting or adjoining upon township roads shall cut, remove or destroy, or cause to be cut any grass, weeds, trees and brush growing in the right of way of such roads.
