“The travel center is about creating a place that feels like family,” said Jason Klootwyk, Agtegra CEO, in the release. “It’s more than a stop along the highway — it’s a space that will welcome travelers while giving back to the farmers and ranchers who built this cooperative.”

It will offer fresh-made meals and well-lit gas and diesel pumps with easy access for trucks and farm equipment, per the release.

More information is expected to be released as construction progresses.

Agtegra is an agricultural cooperative based in Aberdeen.
