CANVASS OF JULY 28, 2026 GOVERNOR RUNOFF ELECTION
Chairman Sutton, called the meeting to order in the Commission Chambers, Courthouse Annex, Brown County, SD. Present were Commissioners Dennert, Dinger, Gage, Sutton and Wiese. Auditor Heupel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Moved by Commissioner Wiese, seconded by Gage to approve the Official Canvass, as follows: (Note: There was 1 provisional ballot, and it is included in these totals).

POST-ELECTION DRAW:
Commissioner Dennert drew VC-2 – Best Western Ramkota with 676 ballots cast. The Post Election Audit will be on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 5:00p.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
Moved by Commissioner Dennert, seconded Wiese by to adjourn the Canvass Meeting for the July 28, 2026 Governor Runoff Election. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
