NOTICE OF ELECTION AND MEETING
PROPOSED RICHMOND LANE AND DRIVE ROAD DISTRICT
An Election and Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 to determine if this proposed Richmond Lane and Drive Road District shall be formed. If the district is formed by this election, nomination and election of a board of trustees will take place at the meeting.
Landowners within the proposed district are allowed one vote; per SDCL 31-12A-1.2 … if more than one person holds an interest in a lot, tract, or parcel of land, no more than one vote may be cast in any election.
The election and meeting will begin at 5:00 P.M. central time at Richmond Pavilion, 12805 Co. Rd. 6D, Aberdeen and will continue until all present have voted.
The area to be included in the proposed district is:
- All of Richmond Drive from 378th Avenue to Richmond Lane including the portion of the E ½ of the NW ¼ which is unplatted and comprises an area approximately 40.00’ wide by 50.00’ long and connecting the east and west sides of Richmond Drive and including the cul-de-sac for Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 Keats Ninth Subdivision;
- All of Richmond Lane south of 127th Street;
- Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 Keats Ninth Subdivision;
- Lot 1 Keats Sixth Subdivision;
- Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Keats Fourth Subdivision;
- Lot 1, Chris & Sara Allen First Richmond Lake Subdivision;
- Lot 2 Prairie Lake Second Subdivision;
- E.B. Water Lot 1;
- Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Prairie Lake First Subdivision;
- Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 Prairie Lake First Subdivision;
