APRIL 15, 2025 – BROWN COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
Meeting called to order by Chairman Sutton at 11:00 A.M. in the Commission Chambers, Courthouse Annex, Brown County, SD. Present were Commissioners Dennert, Dinger, Gage, Sutton and Wiese.
CONTESTED: Moved by Commissioner Wiese, seconded by Dennert to uphold the Director of Equalizations recommendation for John Zeck of NW 31-123-61 EX LAND PLATTED Parcel #4043 to leave the assessed value at $505,584.00. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Commissioner Wiese, seconded by Dennert to uphold the Director of Equalizations recommendation for Katie McKiver of McKiver OL 1 SE 25-123-62 Parcel #4015 to leave the assessed value at $199,158.00. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Commissioner Wiese, seconded by Dennert to adjourn the County Board of Equalization at 11:33 a.m. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
