NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION
MUNICIPALITY OF ABERDEEN CITY
A Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed for one week.
The Vote Centers will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Central Time on the day of the election.
At the election the following offices will be filled:
- For City Council Member Aberdeen Ward – SW (Five-year Term)
- Talmage Ekanger
- Nicole Schutter
- For City Council Member Aberdeen Ward – SE (Five-year Term)
- Kurt Preszler
- Chad Nilson
- Tiffany Langer
The Vote Centers in Aberdeen City are as follows:
- AmericInn Convention Center
- Best Western Ramkota Hotel
- Brown County Courthouse Community Room
Any voter who needs assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may contact the Brown County Auditor’s Office at 605-626-7110 before the election for information on accessibility for people with disabilities at the vote centers.
