NOTICE OF REZONING
An application has been made by Darin & Sarah Lowe to the Brown County Board of Commissioners for a change of zoning. Hearing to be held in the Commissioner’s Chambers, Courthouse Annex, Brown County, South Dakota on April 14, 2026 for the purpose of rezoning the following property from Agriculture Preservation District (AG-P) to Mini-Agriculture District (M-AG) to bring this parcel into compliance for its current use.
Description of property: The West 720’ of the South 1097’ in the NE1/4 of Section 30-T125N-R61W of the 5th P.M., except that portion deeded for highway purposes, Brown County, South Dakota (40058 Larson Road; Columbia Twp.).
The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present comments and testimony regarding the amendment to the Second Revision Brown County Ordinances pertaining to rezoning the property described. At conclusion of the hearing, the Brown County Commission may adopt the first reading of Ordinance No. 323.
