Application has been made to the Brown County Planning/Zoning Commission for
a CONDITIONAL USE PETITION (CUP). A hearing will be held in the Basement Community Room, Brown County Courthouse Annex, on July 21, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.
Petitioner: DakotaScape Properties, LLC – Henry Pretorius
Legal description of property: Lot 4, “Todd Rosebrock First Subdivision” in the NW1/4 of Section 9-T123N-R63W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (4365 Paper Lane #04; Aberdeen Twp.).
Reason: A Conditional Use Petition (CUP) to build a shop/storage building with living quarters and to operate a landscaping business in a Commercial District (C) per Brown County Ordinance 4.1304.
The public may attend the hearing and present comments and testimony regarding the proposed Conditional Use Petition (CUP) request.
