Application has been made to the Brown County Planning/Zoning Commission for a VARIANCE TO LOT FRONTAGE WIDTH. A hearing will be held in the Basement Community Room, Brown County Courthouse Annex, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.
Petitioner / Owner: Ryan & Carla Tracy
Description of property: Proposed Lots 1 & 2, “Ryan and Carla Tracy First Addition”, in the NE1/4 of Section 24-T123N-R61W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (509 N Harrison Street, Groton Twp.).
Reason: Variance to Lot Frontage Width to allow Proposed Lots 1 & 2 to have a 180’-0” frontage width rather than the 200’-0” required per Brown County Ordinance 4.0605.
The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present comments and testimony regarding the proposed ordinance amendment.
