NOTICE OF HEARING

Application has been made to the Brown County Planning/Zoning Commission for a VARIANCE PETITION. A hearing will be held in the Basement Community Room, Brown County Courthouse Annex on September 17, 2024, at 7:00 P.M.

Petitioner / Owner: Daniel & Michelle Smith

Description of property: Lot 1, “Bendewald Farm Subdivision” in the SE1/4 of Section 12-T122N-R65W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (13761 382nd Avenue; Highland Twp.).

Reason: Variance to Shelterbelt Setbacks to have a 100’-0” setback rather than the 150’-0” required from the section line.

The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present comments and testimony regarding the proposed ordinance amendment.
