NOTICE OF HEARING
Application has been made to the Brown County Planning/Zoning Commission for
a VARIANCE PETITION. A hearing will be held in the Basement Community Room, Brown County Courthouse Annex, on June 16, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.
Petitioner: Braun Family LP – Stacy Braun
Legal description of property: The S1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 2-T121N-R64W of the 5th P.M., except land deeded, Brown County, South Dakota (38645 142nd Street, Warner Twp.)
Reason: Petitioner would like to have an East 100’ separation and a West 170’ separation from existing approaches for a new approach to access a new home site rather than the 500’ required by Brown County Ordinance 4.0608.
The public may attend the hearing and present comments and testimony regarding the proposed ordinance amendment.
