NOTICE OF HEARING
Application has been made to the Brown County Planning/Zoning Commission for a VARIANCE PETITION. A hearing will be held in the Basement Community Room, Brown County Courthouse Annex, on June 16, 2026, at 7:00 P.M.
Petitioner / Owner: Kelly Tracy
Description of property: Schaunaman’s Outlot 3, “Miller’s Richmond Lake Subdivision” in the SW1/4 of Section 19-T124N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (approx. 382642 N. Shore Drive, Lincoln Twp).
Reason: Variance to Setbacks to allow a road R.O.W. setback of 3.92’ from the property line rather than the 30’ setback required by Brown County Ordinance for a new 40’ x 48’ storage building in an Agriculture Preservation District (AG-P).
The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present comments and testimony regarding the proposed ordinance amendment.
