Changes have been made to the Saturday, May 2 Republican candidate forum at K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E.
The District 23 portion of the forum has been canceled because the candidates cannot make it. That has shifted the day’s schedule, which follows.
- 8:30 a.m.: Doors open/coffee and refreshments
- 9-10 a.m.: District 3 House forum featuring Tim Hanigan, Al Novstrup, Spencer Sommers and Kaleb Weis.
- 10:10-10:40 a.m.: District 3 Senate forum featuring Carl Perry and Katie Washnok.
- 10:50-11:50 a.m.: District 1 House forum featuring Nick Fosness, Logan Manhart and Keith Miller.
- 12:20-1:20 p.m.: Brown County sheriff’s forum featuring Daniel Kaiser, Linn Kamin, Dave Lunzman and Robert Weinmeister.
The forum will be live-streamed by Dakota Broadcasting online at dakotabroadcasting.com/news/. It is sponsored by the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of the Aberdeen Area.
