A city-wide ground spray is planned Wednesday, Sept. 6 between the hours of 8 p.m. and midnight.
West Nile, a disease that can be transmitted by certain mosquitoes, has been identified in Aberdeen. Residents are encouraged to take reasonable precautions to avoid being bitten like eliminating mosquito habitat, using insect repellants, and wearing proper clothing when outdoors.
Inclement weather conditions will result in the spray being suspended.
