NOTICE OF HEARING AND SUMMARY BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held regarding the 2025 Capital Improvement Plan at 5:30 PM on September 16, 2024 in the Aberdeen City Council Chambers on First Floor of the Aberdeen City Hall located at 123 South Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, SD. Copies of the 2024 Capital Improvement are available for public inspection in the Finance Office at City Hall, at the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, and online at www.aberdeen.sd.us/103/finance. Following the hearing, the City Council may adopt the capital improvement program at any time with or without amendment by resolution. The 2025 Capital Improvement Program includes funding for Airport $6,300,000; Building & Structures $18,315,000; Community & Contingency $815,000; Fire $500,000; Library $410,000; Traffic Control $200,000; Parks, Recreation & Forestry $1,240,000; Street & Bridge $9,705,000; Utility Storm $815,000; Utility Sewer $1,110,000; Utility Water $11,800,000; Wastewater Treatment – $31,215,000; and Water Treatment $900,000. Funding for 2025: $83,325,000.
