NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2025-2026 SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Aberdeen City Council at the office of the City Finance Officer, 123 S Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, SD, 57401,
until 2:00 o’clock p.m. local time on the 16th day of September 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened, read and referred to by the Aberdeen City Council for furnishing:
Snow removal blading, hauling, and towing services for winter 2025-2026
Copies of the Specifications, and other proposed contract documents are available on the City of Aberdeen website at www.aberdeen.sd.us and on file at the Public Works Office, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and will be available at no cost from the latter.
All bids shall be made on the printed forms attached to and made a part of this contract. Bid prices will be firm for the period of November 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026.
Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications. All bids shall be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the words “Bid for Snow Removal Services.”
Services will be paid in cash within thirty (30) days after receipt of verified vouchers and acceptance by the Aberdeen City Council.
The Aberdeen City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and accept the bid it deems most favorable and in the best interest of the City of Aberdeen after all bids have been examined.
