NOTICE OF HEARING AND SUMMARY BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held regarding the 2026 Annual Appropriations Budget at 5:30 PM on September 2, 2025 in the Aberdeen City Council Chambers on First Floor of the Aberdeen City Hall located at 123 South Lincoln Street, Aberdeen, SD. Copies of the 2026 Annual Appropriations Budget are available for public inspection in the Finance Office at City Hall, at the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library and online at www.aberdeen.sd.us/103/finance. Following the hearing, the 2026 Annual Appropriations ordinance will have first reading. The proposed 2026 Annual Appropriations Budget includes funding for General Fund Supported Funds $44,217,950; Special Sales Tax $12,975,000; Other Governmental Funds $10,384,850; Enterprise Funds $107,135,450; Internal Service Funds $3,500,000. Total funding for 2026 – $178,213,250.
