BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Adjustment on August 14, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers on the first floor of the Aberdeen City Hall (South Entrance), 123 Lincoln Street S., Aberdeen, South Dakota to hear the following applications:
William Berg requests permission, as per site plan submitted, to 1) construct an accessory structure within the side yard of the property, which would be an Appeal to the Board of Zoning Adjustment, 2) to construct an 18’ x 22’ detached garage 22’ from the South property line rather than the required 25’ which would be a 3’ Building Variance, 3) for existing residence to remain 24’ from the South property line rather than the required 25’ which would be a 1’ Building Variance, and 4) existing residence to remain 6’ from the North property line rather than the required 20’ which would be a 6’ Building Variance, all on the West 77’ of Lot 6, Block 6, Boyd’s 2nd Subdivision Blocks 1-3 & 6 Nicollet Park Addition, a.k.a. 1113 4th Ave SE.

Terry West dba All Over Roofing and Shiny Gray Goat LLC request permission, as per site plan submitted, to permit the open storage of utility trailers, work vehicles, and shingling inventory & supplies, which would be a Special Exception in the (C-2) Highway Commercial District, all on the South 92’, Lot 15-16, Block 9, Nicollet Park Addition, a.k.a. 1003 6th Ave SE.
Lee Park Storage LLC requests permission, as per site plan submitted, to permit the open storage of campers, trailers, boats, and other similar recreational vehicles, which
would be a Special Exception in the (C-2) Highway Commercial District, all on Lots 1 & 2, Lee Park Storage First Subdivision, Lot A, Village Bowl First Addition, and Lot 2, Skyway Addition, a.k.a. 1016 5th Ave NW, 1021 Olive Dr N, 1121 Olive Dr N, and 1221 Olive Dr N.
