NOTICE OF HEARING ON APPLICATIONS TO

BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Zoning Adjustment on July 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the City Council Chambers on the first floor of the Aberdeen City Hall (South Entrance), 123 Lincoln Street S., Aberdeen, South Dakota to hear the following applications:

Nicole Fuller requests permission, as per site plan submitted, to operate a daycare as a home occupation, which would be a Special Exception in the (R-3) High Density Residential District, all on Lot 19, Block 53, Second Addition, a.k.a. 15 9th Ave SW.

Boys & Girls Club of Aberdeen and Aberdeen BMX request permission, as per site plan submitted, to permit the construction of three 10’ x 72’ dugout/shelters not aesthetically similar to primary structure, which would be an Appeal to the Board of Zoning Adjustment in the (R-3) High Density Residential District, all on Lot 1, Brown County Commissioners 2nd Subdivision, a.k.a. 1121 First Ave SE.

Padgett Auto Sales and Old Hickory request permission, as per site plan submitted, to permit the open storage and sale of storage sheds, which would be a Special Exception in the (C-2) Highway Commercial District, all on Lot 1, Northwest Realty, a.k.a. 805 Sixth Ave SW.

Any person interested in the approval or rejection of the applications may appear and be heard.
