NOTICE OF HEARING OF THE ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL

REGARDING AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING A PUBLIC

RIGHT-OF-WAY AS SHORTRIDGE DRIVE

A public hearing will be held by the Aberdeen City Council on the 1st day of December, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 123 South Lincoln Street, First Floor of the Municipal Building, to consider proposed Ordinance No. 25-11-04, an ordinance designating a portion of public right-of-way described as The 60’ wide section of Nicklaus Drive Public R.O.W. commencing at the west boundary of the north/south running Shortridge Drive and following the existing R.O.W. east then turning south to a point of termination at its intersection with Stewart Drive. This section of R.O.W. is located adjacent to Lot 1, Glynn First Addition,  Lot 9, Block 2, Rolling Hills Village Addition, Lot 1, Block 1 & Lot 10, Block 2, Rolling Hills Village Eighth Addition, and Lots 13 & 14, Rolling Hills Village Sixth Addition in the NE¼ of Section 15- T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota”, shall be and is hereby designated and known as Shortridge Drive.

The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present testimony and comments pertaining to the proposed ordinance. At the conclusion of the hearing, the City Council may adopt first reading of Ordinance No. 25-11-04.

This notice was received and placed on file as set forth in the consent agenda of the regular meeting of the City Council for November 17, 2025.
