Sealed bids will be received by the City of Aberdeen Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, Aberdeen, South Dakota until 2:00 p.m., C.T., September 8, 2026, for labor and material required for the Uncle Henry’s Outhouse at Wylie Park, Aberdeen, South Dakota.
All divisions of work will be in one bid package.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder clearly identified on the envelope. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
A Pre-Bid Walk-through will be held at Wylie Park, Land of Oz, Ballon Ride on September 1 at 2:00 P.M.
Copies of the plans and specifications are on file at Aberdeen Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, Aberdeen, South Dakota; Builders Exchanges listed in the Instruction to Bidders; and at the office of HKG Architects, Inc., AIA, 524 S. Arch St., P.O. Box 55, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Copies may be obtained at the architect’s office by bidders.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid plus all add alternates, or a 10% bid bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and made payable to the “Aberdeen Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department, Aberdeen, South Dakota”.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein.
