City of Aberdeen – Ride Line Public Notice

PUBLIC NOTICE

RIDE LINE

Ride Line, a public transportation service by the City of Aberdeen, hereby presents notification of grant applications filed under the Surface Transportation Assistance Act, Section 5311, and the Older Americans Act, Title III B, Supportive Services program.  Ride Line is seeking a grant to assist with administrative costs associated with operating the Ride Line Program. The program enhances mobility and provides rural, public, and special transportation for elderly persons, persons with disabilities, youth, and general public on a demand response basis. Interested public, private transit or paratransit operators within the area are invited to comment on the proposal or propose a public hearing by sending a written notice to Aberdeen Ride Line, 205 N 4th St, Aberdeen, South Dakota 57401, and the South Dakota Department of Transportation, ATTN: Office of Air, Rail and Transit, 700 E Broadway Ave, Pierre, South Dakota 57501. Written notice and comments should be mailed no later than thirty (30) days following the appearance of this notice.
