CITY OF FREDERICK

JULY 7, 2025 MINUTES

 

Frederick’s town board meeting was held Monday, July 7, 2025 in the Frederick Community Center beginning at 7:00 PM. Attending the meeting were Chairman Scott Campbell, Board member Marty Morlock, Finance Officer Jennifer Morlock and Assistant Finance Officer Mariah Heine, and Rich Achen.

Chairman Campbell opened the meeting and led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

The minutes of the June meeting were read and approved with a motion by Campbell/Morlock; motion carried. The financial statements were reviewed and accepted with a motion by Morlock/Campbell; motion carried.  The July accounts payable were approved with a motion by Morlock/Campbell; motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

Campbell provided a utility report. A volunteer helped clean up the city shop this month. There was discussion about maintenance of city grounds. The board reviewed the Brown County Sheriff’s Report.  Motion to send nuisance letters to properties in violation of ordinances made by Campbell/Morlock; motion carried.

 

NEW BUSINESS

Motion to approve second quarter library report made by Campbell/Morlock; motion carried. Achen addressed the board about using the city shop for a new shop class on behalf of the school board.  The board will address again when all board members are present and discuss with the teacher of the class.

 

The next regular meeting will be Monday, July 7 at 7PM.
