Notice is hereby given, that pursuant to SDCL 6-13 et al, the following described property will be offered for sale by auction, which auction will take place on site at 10 Broadway Street, Columbia, South Dakota, on September 9, 2026 at 10:00 o’clock A.M.
This property has been approved for public sale by the Columbia Area Rural Fire Protection District. Property offered for sale is as follows:
48 x 75 building that was built in 1984 located at 10 Broadway Street, Columbia, South Dakota. The building has 14′ side walls, metal siding, metal roof and concrete floor throughout. It has a paved street on the West side with alley on the North. It was formerly known as the Fire Department Building. The legal description for the property is:
Broadway Peck’s 1st Addition, Lots 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, Columbia, South Dakota
Property is being sold AS IS. Successful bidder(s) will deposit 10% down as irrevocable earnest money on day of sale. The balance will be due at closing which will be within 45 days of date of sale. The cost of title insurance and closing service fees will be divided equally between buyer and seller. Possession will be given at closing. The 2026 real estate taxes will be prorated to day of closing. Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Announcements on day of sale shall take precedence over written advertisements. This property is offered subject to any rights, easements, restrictions and/or reservations of record.
