Dialo Owen Schmidt, 92, passed away on December 29, 2025, at the State Veterans Home in Hot Springs SD. A service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Aberdeen on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00am. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00pm, Sunday, followed by a prayer service at 5:00pm at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charlie & Leone, wife Margaret, daughter Kathy, wife Gerry, brother Bevan, and sister Beverly. He is survived by 3 children, Randy, Vickie & Kelly; 2 sisters, Charlotte & Myrna; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
