NOTICE OF 3/3/26 PROCEEDINGS
The annual township meeting was held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026 at the Shed in Westport. The meeting was called to order, those present where Shawna Musch, Landon Dennert, Tim Tumby, Jason Podoll and JoLynn Podoll. Tim was elected Chairman, Jason was elected Supervisor, Shawna was elected Supervisor, Landon was elected Treasure, JoLynn was elected Clerk. The treasure report was presented by Landon and approved by Jason and second by Tim, motion carried. Tim made a motion to approve the secondary Road Capital Improvement levy at .50 per 1000 of value, Jason 2nd the motion, motion approved by all. Landon made a motion that ditch weeds will be the responsibility of the landowners and there will be no shoulder disking, Shawna 2nd, motion carried. Shawna made a motion to selected Pies for blading and snow removal, Tim second and motion carried. Shawna made a motion to select Cox for gravel hauling, Tim second, motion carried. Jason made a motion to install a culvert at 120th 393rd and 394th due to water standing. Shawna second, motion carried. Shawna made a motion to widen the intersection of 120th and 394th, Landon second and motion carried. The Township Equalization meeting will be held March 17th at 6:00 at the Shed in Westport.
