WEED REMOVAL NOTICE
All road right-of-ways in Liberty Township must be cut by October 1, 2024. Area to be cut shall extend from area of travel to field boundaries. Any right-of-way not cut by October 1, 2024 will be cut and charged to the landowner. The charge of $400 per half mile per side will be charged to the landowner.
Per South Dakota Codified Law, the owner or occupant of any land abutting or adjoining upon township roads shall cut, remove or destroy, or cause to be cut, any grass, weeds, trees and brush growing in the right of way of such roads.
