A May Day rally is set for Friday, May 1 at Anderson Park in Aberdeen.
It is part of a national day of protest and scheduled to run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the park along Sixth Avenue Southeast.
The rally is “for the rights of workers and (to) show that we want a country that supports workers, not billionaires,” according to a social media post. It’s being organized by Indivisible Aberdeen.

People who attend the rally will be able to register to vote and are encouraged to take signs.
