Northwestern forfeits game due to rash of injuries

Northwestern High School announced it is forfeiting its football game against Leola-Frederick Friday, Oct. 4.

According to Northwestern athletic director Nora Groft, the Wildcats do not have enough healthy players to compete in the contest. The team has 19-total players, but about half of them are out with injuries.

The Wildcats have just one game remaining on their schedule. After a bye next week, Northwestern will end its regular season with a game at Faulkton Friday,  Oct. 18.
