Aberdeen City Council: 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15 in the city council chambers at the Municipal Building, 123 S. Lincoln St. Agenda items include:

  • Second reading of ordinance setting wages for 2026.
  • First reading of ordinance setting fees for 2026.
  • First reading of ordinance supplementing the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department budget.
  • First reading of ordinance supplementing other city budgets for unanticipated expenses.
  • Northeast Council of Governments agreement for 2026.
  • $2,983,008 payment to PKG Contracting for work at the Water Reclamation Facility.
  • Purchase two Chevrolet Tahoes at a total of $107,874.
  • Bridge Improvement Grant application for surface repairs to three sections of the Second Street overpass deck.
  • Payment of $74,264 to Prahm Construction for work on the 10th Avenue Southeast bridge.
  • Purchase of 2026 Chevy Silverado using state contract bid from Beck Motors.
  • Approval of payment requests to Dahme Construction, Reede Construction and Helms & Associates for airport improvements.
  • Approve amendments to each on-airport car rental concession agreement to extend each for one year.
  • Approve professional services agreement with Helms & Associates for design and construction of snow removal buildings expansion and airfield electrical vault relocation.

Brown County Commission: 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 in the commission chambers of the Brown County Courthouse Annex, 25 Market St. Agenda items include:

  • Annual update with Coroner Brian Koens.
  • Hear fair update from Fair and Fairgrounds Manager Rachel Kippley and authorize Brown County Fair contracts with WOW Talent and Entertainment, Radiance Works Entertainment, Home Clean Home, Ro Sham Bo Creative and Winterset Concert Events LLC.
  • Approve memorandum of agreement with Dakota State University and Brown County.
