South Dakota State University (SDSU) is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services for the project referenced above. The scope of work will include design, bidding, and construction administration services.
Design services will include documentation of existing conditions, design development, preparation of bid documents, and construction administration for the renovation of the existing C-Store in Hansen Hall. The project will transform a portion of the space into a hot-food dining concept and will include the build-out of a small kitchen area within an existing storage room, complete with associated equipment, exhaust hood, and dishwashing facilities. The scope will also include site design elements to support service access for product deliveries and waste handling.
Firms wishing to be considered for this project should send a statement of interest that outlines the qualifications and experience as it pertains to this project. Statements of Interest should at a minimum include the following:
- Specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence as demonstrated by the team’s capabilities, proposed approach and methodology to meet the project requirements. (35%)
- Resources available to perform the work, including any specialized services, within the specified time limits for the project. (15%)
- Record of past performance, including price and cost data from previous projects, quality of work, ability to meet schedules, cost control, and contract administration. (20%)
- Availability to project locale. (5%)
- Familiarity with project locale. (5%)
- Proposed project management techniques. (5%)
- Ability and project history in handling special project constraints. (15%)
A technical review committee will select the firm based on the criteria shown.
