A celebration of life will be held in honor of Shelee Rae Roth at 11 a.m. on Thursday May 4, 2023, at the Warner Community Center.
Shelee (Spaar) Roth was born Dec 29, 1960 in Aberdeen, SD to Shirlee (Caskey) Smith and Gerald R. Spaar. She grew up in Warner where she attended school until completion at Warner High School. Shelee married Kirk Moffenbier and was blessed with a son Lynn Michael. Shelee later married the love of her life Jack Poirer. After Jack’s passing in 2016, Shelee met and married Melvin Roth of Leola.
After the passing of her twin sister, Kelee, Shelee became guardian to Hollee Hilla.
Shelee fought a long hard battle with cancer and passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at the age of 62.
Shelee is survived by her spouse, Melvin Roth of Leola, her mother, Shirlee Smith of Warner, Brother Raymond (Myrna) Spaar of Webster, Son, Lynn Moffenbier, Sioux Falls, bonus daughter Hollee Hilla, Mansfield and Jack’s grandchildren Bailey and Taylor Aberle, Aberdeen. Several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews
She is preceded in death by her twin sister Kelee. Twin children, Michael and Michelle. Her Father Gerald Spaar, stepfather, D. Keith Smith, twin niece, Jamie Hilla, twin nephew Jason Hilla.
