Snow removal in Aberdeen begins at 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 22


Plowing of city streets in Aberdeen will begin the morning of Wednesday, March 22.

A complete plowing schedule and the city snow removal map follow.

  • Plowing of emergency snow routes begins at 6 a.m. Wednesday.
  • Plowing of all north-south streets in Zone 2 and all streets in Zone 3 begins at 7 a.m. Wednesday. Zone 3 includes all perimeter streets in the city.
  • Plowing of east-west avenues in Zone 2 begins at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Plowing of the downtown commercial zone, known as Zone 1, begins at 10 p.m. Wednesday.
  • Plowing of all city parking lots begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday.

Vehicles must be removed from streets from the time plowing begins in a zone until plows have completely cleared the street from curb to curb. Violators can be ticketed and towed.

With the exception of the downtown core area, it is illegal to move snow into city streets.
