PLANNING AND ZONING
NOTICE OF 8/19/25 UNAPPROVED MINUTES
The Spink County Planning and Zoning Board met at 10:00 a.m., August 19, 2025, at the Spink County Courthouse. Present were board members Dave Albrecht, Brian Johnson, Brett Knox, Suzanne Smith, and Kevin Siebrecht. Also, present Tracey Millar, DOE. See a list of guests present at the Equalization Office.
ADOPT AGENDA
Motion was made by Suzanne Smith, seconded by Brett Knox, to adopt the agenda. All members voted aye. Motion carried.
MINUTES APPROVED
Motion was made by Suzanne Smith, seconded by Brett Knox, to approve the minutes from the 8-05-2025, Planning and Zoning meeting. All members voted aye. Motion carried.
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) hearing was held for Dylan Eggers to sell ammunition at his home. He will not be storing ammunition on site. Dylan was available for questions. Members of the audience had questions that Dylan was able to answer. Motion was made by Kevin Siebrecht, to approve the CUP for Dylan Eggers to sell ammunition at his located at Dawson’s S-D Lots 8-9. A second was made Brett Knox. All members voted aye. Motion carried.
REVIEW NEW ZONING ORDINANCES
Tracey Millar presented the P&Z Board with new Wind Energy System (WES), and Data Processing Center ordinances. The board did not take any action on the ordinances and will meet at the next meeting to review Data Center, WES, and Solar Energy ordinances in greater detail
ADJOURNMENT
Adjourned as Planning and Zoning Board at 10:35 a.m. Motion was made by Brett Knox, seconded by Suzanne Smith. All members voted aye. Motion carried.
