NOTICE OF REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE
Judgment was entered in favor of Plaintiff under a Default Judgment and Decree of Foreclosure (“Judgment”) dated May 22, 2026. The Judgment was filed with the Clerk of Courts, Spink County, South Dakota, on May 22, 2026, for the foreclosure of a real estate mortgage.
Notice is hereby given pursuant to said Judgment that:
- The name of the mortgagors are Heath Shottenkirk and Janell Shottenkirk.
- The amount due and owing to Plaintiff as of May 22, 2026, is $103,811.04, including pre-judgment interest, costs, disbursements, and attorneys’ fees. Interest continues to accrue at the rate of $28.44 per day after May 22, 2026.
- The mortgage was dated April 29, 2024.
- The property subject to the foreclosure sale is:
Lot Seven (7), Hancock’s First (1st) Addition, Redfield, Spink County, South Dakota.
- The property will be sold subject to redemption as one parcel of land at public auction, subject to easements and restrictions of record, any taxes and assessments owed to Spink County, and a senior lien to Selene Finance, LP by virtue of a 180 Day Redemption Mortgage dated June 11, 2004, with a payoff valid through July 1, 2026, in the amount of $12,631.12 plus $2.07 per diem for every day thereafter, to the highest bidder for cash by the Sheriff of Spink County at the front door of the Spink County Courthouse in Redfield, South Dakota, on July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. central time.
