Summit Carbon Solutions representatives have office hours in Aberdeen and Redfield this week.
Company representatives are at the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, 225 Third Ave. S.E., in the alumni room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a social media post. They will be in Redfield on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Redfield Carnegie Library, 5 E. Fifth Ave.
The times were posted to Summit’s Facebook page the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 11.
The sessions are for open discussion about the Summit Carbon Solutions project, which aims to capture carbon dioxide emissions from ethanol plants in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska and sequester the carbon dioxide underground in North Dakota.
The meetings are a time for informal discussion with company officials about the proposed project.
