EVENING SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The special meeting of the Board of Education, Warner School District #6-5, Brown County, SD was called to order by President Haaland at the Warner School Board Room on July 15, 2026, at 6:00 pm. Board members present: Aimee Anderson, Sarah Bierman, Cody Bruns, Leah Haaland, and Shannon Knuppe. Also present were Superintendent Mike Kroll and Business Manager Larry Robinson.
Pledge of Allegiance
Motion by Knuppe, second by Anderson and carried to approve agenda.
Board President asked for continuing disclosures: none
Board President asked for public comment: none
Motion by Bruns, second by Bierman and carried to go into executive session at 6:04 p.m. for Legal according to SDCL 1-25-2 (3).
Board President declared executive session over at 8:06 p.m.
Motion by Bruns, second by Anderson to approve action item from executive session and carried that based on the Attorney General’s official opinion No. 26-03 Concerning Public School Construction Contracts, we are terminating the contract with Mammoth Sports Construction and moving forward with opening the bidding process for remaining work on the athletic complex.
Motion by Knuppe, second by Bierman and carried to adjourn at 8:10 p.m.
