March 23, 2026 MINUTES
The special meeting of the Board of Education, Warner School District #6-5, Brown County, SD was called to order by President Haaland at the Warner School Board Room on March 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Board members present: Aimee Anderson, Cody Bruns, Leah Haaland, and Shannon Knuppe. Sarah Bierman was absent. Also present were Superintendent/HS Principal Mike Kroll and Business Manager Angie Vetter, and Larry Robinson.

Motion by Bruns, second by Anderson and carried to approve the agenda with addition of #6. Approve volunteer working agreement to Trevor Mees for golf for FY26.

Motion by Knuppe, second by Anderson and carried to approve teaching contract to Taylor Weiszhaar for FY27.
Motion by Bruns, second by Knuppe and carried to approve volunteer working agreement to Kati Johnson for track for FY26.
Motion by Anderson, second by Knuppe and carried to approve volunteer working agreement to Angie Bakeberg for track for FY26.
Motion by Knuppe, second by Bruns and carried to approve volunteer working agreement to Emma Schneider for track for FY26.
Motion by Anderson, second by Bruns and carried to approve volunteer working agreement to Monte Meyerink for track for FY26.
Motion by Bruns, second by Knuppe and carried to approve volunteer working agreement to Trevor Mees for golf for FY26.
Motion by Knuppe, second by Bruns and carried to go into executive session at 6:07 p.m. for negotiations and personnel.
Board President declared executive session over at 8:26 p.m.
Motion by Bruns, second by Knuppe and carried to approve certified negotiations and provisions for FY27.
Motion by Knuppe, second by Anderson and carried to approve offering of contracts to certified staff for FY27.
Motion by Anderson, second by Bruns and carried to approve offering of working agreements to classified staff for FY27.
Motion by Bruns, second by Knuppe and carried to adjourn at 8:28 p.m.
