Manhart will serve District 1 well
I am a 33-year resident of Groton, and I am voting for Logan Manhart for state House on June 4 because he supports what is right for Groton. He supports law enforcement, private property rights, he is pro-life and supports fiscal responsibility.
I have known Logan for many years, and he works hard every day speaking with constituents in District 1 about the issues facing our region. He is a fine young man, and I trust his good, godly judgment to represent us in Pierre. Please join me in voting for Logan Manhart for state House in the June 4 Republican primary.

Ulysses Grant’s prophecy
The following is an ominous story citing Miles Taylor’s book entitled “Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the next Trump.” In his book he writes, “Former U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant spoke to a group of military veterans in 1875, a decade after the Union and the Confederacy fought over the future of the country. Grant offered a prophecy about what might happen if America was split in two again. The divergence wouldn’t be North versus South.”
I now go on to what Taylor quoted from Grant’s words: “If we are to have another contest in the near future of our national existence,” he offered, “I predict that the dividing line will not be Masons and Dixons, but between patriotism and intelligence on the one side and superstition, ambition and ignorance on the other.”
Food for thought.

Perry will stand up to party leadership
The adage that the next election is the most important in our lifetime is never truer than today. This applies not only to our national election, but our state and local elections as well.
I have known Carl Perry for about 20 years, and he is a businessman, conservative, pro-life and a long-time community supporter. He has the experience, the communication skills and the passion for what is best for the people of South Dakota.
I have personally found it easy to get in contact with Carl concerning the various political issues that we face today, and it is reassuring to see someone who is not afraid to stand up to the leadership of his own party to do what is right.
South Dakota needs a state senator who believes in the Constitution. Please join me in supporting Carl Perry, the only choice for Senate.
