Those interested in hearing from Republican candidates who will appear on the June 4 primary ballot can do so Saturday, May 4.
A series of candidate forums are planned starting at 9 a.m. at the K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E.
The first session involves the two candidates running for Senate in Legislative District 3. They are Carl Perry and Katie Washnok from Aberdeen.
At 10:30 a.m., District 23 candidates will have their chance to woo voters. Steve Roseland of Seneca and Mark Lapka of Leola are running for the Senate.

Spencer Gosch of Glenham, JD Wangsness of Miller and Scott Moore of Ipswich are running for House in District 23. The top two vote getters will advance to the general election.
District 1 House candidates speak at 1 p.m. They are Tamara St. John of Sisseton, Logan Manhart of Aberdeen and Chris Reder of Warner. Again, the top two vote getters will move on to the Nov. 5 ballot.
The three candidates for Brown County Commission will appear at 2:30 p.m. They are Duane Sutton, Michael Carlsen and Kyler Dinger, all of Aberdeen.
