Work on two South Dakota Department of Transportation projects in the region begins Monday, April 22.
Concrete paving is scheduled for U.S. Highway 12 between Bowdle and Roscoe, and bridge work is planned 2 miles south of Britton on State Highway 27, according to news releases from the DOT.

Asphalt paving and cold milling work on Highway 12 will reduce traffic to one lane. Reduced speeds should be expected around paving equipment. The primary contractor for this $5.3 million project is Anderson Western, Inc. of Bismarck, N.D. Paving will continue through June 14 with overall completion of the project by Nov. 1.
Bridge work on Highway 27 will reduce traffic to one lane, and stop signs will be set up at the bridge. BX Civil & Construction is handling the $1.8 million project. Repairs should be finished by June 28 with overall completion by Oct. 11.
