An Aberdeen man received a partially suspended 15-year prison sentence on a charge of felony child abuse.
Tyler A. Wipf, 33, was sentenced to 15 years with eight years suspended and was given credit for 80 days served.
Wipf was initially charged with felony sexual contact of a child who was 8 years old in 2022, according to court documents. He ultimately pleaded guilty to felony abuse or cruelty to a minor who was older than 7.
He was ordered to pay $2,217.
Claremont woman admits to grand theft from employer
Michelle Cogley, 53, Claremont, pleaded guilty to felony grand theft in connection to money found missing from the business accounts where she worked.
She was initially charged with felony embezzlement, but later admitted to grand theft. According to court documents, an estimate from the business owner showed $32,754 missing.
She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, placed on probation for two years, fined $1,117 and ordered to pay restitution.

- Michael Harmon, 55, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to grand theft for writing a check on an invalid account. He was placed on house arrest for 90 days, placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $117.
- Troy Adams, 40, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He received a five-year suspended sentence, was placed on probation for three years and ordered to pay $1,117 in fines and court costs.
- Matthew D. Gauss, 47, Ashley, N.D., pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $1,117 in fines and court costs and $3,000 in restitution.
- Tysen W. Konickson, 25, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He received a five-year suspended prison sentence, was placed on probation for two years and fined $1,117.
- Jennifer L. Noltner, 46, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to five years in prison with four years suspended, given credit for 43 days served and ordered to pay $117.
- Christopher J. Hanson, 38, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to distribution of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison with eight years and six months suspended, given credit for 48 days served and fined $117.
- Brianne M. Shyer, 43, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to forgery for passing a forged check. She was sentenced to five years in prison with credit for two days served. She was fined $117 in court costs and was ordered to pay $1,095 in restitution.
- Anysha Santos Almestica, 28, Bolivar Mo., pleaded guilty to grand theft for stealing from Walmart. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 20 days served, placed on probation for two years and ordered to pay $917.
- Raymond Wolter, 43, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to sixth-offense driving under the influence. He received a 10-year suspended prison sentence, was placed on probation for three years, had his driver’s license revoked for three years and was admitted to problem solving court, a drug and DUI court program aimed at providing the tools and resources for sobriety. He was fined $1,167.
- Ethan S. Ellerbusch, 23, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He received a five-year suspended prison sentence, was placed on probation for two years and was ordered to pay $1,117.
- Douglas D. Gerth, 65, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He received a five-year suspended prison sentence, was placed on probation for two years and fined $617.
- Sydney Strutz, 23, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to failure to appear in court. She was sentenced to two years in prison with credit for 169 days served and ordered to pay $617.
- Tylor Assarsson, 37, Warner, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to five years in prison with four years suspended, given credit for 389 days and fined $677.
