Scotty’s Diner will be going through a rebrand less than a year after reopening.
The restaurant, at 719 N. Main St., will be closed for about a week and a half starting Sunday, April 28. It will reopen Wednesday, May 8.
Bailey Alonge from Doeden Investment Group said the restaurant will be moving away from the 1960s diner theme. It wasn’t as popular as hoped, she said.
Not a lot of details have been made available about the changes, but Alonge more information will be shared closer to the reopening.
A longtime restaurant in Aberdeen, Scotty’s Diner reopened in mid-June after extensive remodeling. A grand reopening is planned May 16-18.
